Exhibiting at National Surface Design Show

iDesignA group of second and third year Surface Design students from Somerset College have had the opportunity to attend and display their personal work at the annual Surface Design Show.

The students, who exhibited their design work under the collective name of iDesign, received a personal invite from the organisers and were respected as designers in their own right throughout the show.

The two day event, which is a trade show for architects and interior designers, was held at the Business Design Centre in London and provided a great opportunity for the students to make connections and contacts with key figures within the industry. End of year Fashion Show

Fashion Design graduates from Somerset College created and delivered a London-style cat-walk
show to exhibit their end of year graduate collections. The students worked with their very own models to showcase their individual designs, some of which can be viewed in the accompanying video.

The impressive event was attended by a large number of industry figures, allowing our students to make vital contacts for their future careers.
